At least two individuals were killed and an innocent bystander sustained injuries in a "significant" shooting that occurred Friday afternoon at the Fairlane Town Center shopping mall in Dearborn, Michigan.
Reports from local affiliates indicate one victim suffered a gunshot wound to the head, while another was shot in the abdomen.
Authorities have not yet provided information regarding potential suspects or the circumstances that led to the gunfire.
Police Secure Scene, Investigation Underway
The Dearborn Police Department issued an urgent public advisory via social media, urging all residents and visitors to avoid the vicinity. Officers are actively working to secure the scene and conduct their investigation.
"We are asking residents and visitors to avoid the area while officers secure the scene and investigators conduct their work," the department stated.
