"The Celtics have actually started strongly shopping Jaylen Brown, soliciting offers from a market of about eight to 10 teams in the last several days," ESPN’s Shams Charania said on "First Take" Wednesday morning. "It is unclear whether a deal is close or where they necessarily stand, but there has been a high price threshold."
Charania further clarified that, to his understanding, Brown had not requested a trade, suggesting the move was initiated by the Celtics' front office.
