Connecticut State Police reported that the collision occurred around 5:39 a.m. on Route 44, specifically near Twin Lakes Road in Salisbury. Investigations indicated that the commercial vehicle veered off the roadway before it tipped over.
The truck sustained substantial damage during the incident, resulting in its cargo of beer spilling across the pavement. Images released by state police displayed the overturned tractor-trailer on its side, surrounded by countless cans of Michelob Ultra and Bud Light scattered across the highway.
