Thousands of beer cans were strewn across a Connecticut highway on Tuesday after a tractor-trailer overturned, prompting authorities to close the route for several hours.
Connecticut State Police reported that the collision occurred around 5:39 a.m. on Route 44, specifically near Twin Lakes Road in Salisbury. Investigations indicated that the commercial vehicle veered off the roadway before it tipped over.
